What We Do

At Bosphorus Metal, we market and supply a diverse range of base metals, namely; Zinc, Lead, Copper and Aluminium, in the form of Ores, Concentrates & finished products. We provide a secure and trusted trading platform through which we market or source our client’s requirements.

 

Our practical understanding of sourcing, blending, and transporting commodities promotes market competitiveness. Metal Ores and Concentrates are transported to smelting facilities worldwide to produce ingots; we supply the raw materials to smelters by way of toll manufacturing contracts which in return we obtain the finished metals for our international supply chain. We trade commodities that are transformed into products used in everyday life, including mobile phones, bicycles, cutlery, plastics, and electricity, to customers in industries ranging from automotive to home appliances.

 

Zinc : After iron, aluminium, and copper, zinc is the fourth most used metal in the world. Zinc is used, among other things, in the construction industry and the auto and transport industry where long useful life is an important requirement. Due to the strength and flexibility of Zinc alloys, they are frequently used in the production of automotive parts.

Lead, a commodity known for its extensive use in the industrial settings. The demand for Lead is increasing substantially, particularly in emerging markets, and it is the primary raw material for battery manufacturers globally.

Copper is used in the construction industry and household items. The electrical conductivity of copper makes it suitable for cable and electronic product manufacturing.

Aluminium, an essential commodity in the automotive and aerospace industry, guarantees a stable trading market due to its global demand. Aluminium is used in additional end applications such as the construction industry and food and beverage.
